British Open at Royal Birkdale: How to Watch Golf's Third Major of 2017 in U.S. on Live Stream and Television Schedule

World No. 1 Dustin Johnson leads the pack as favorite for the British Open, which begins on Thursday at Royal Birkdale.

The 146th Open takes place at the course in Southport, in the north-west of England, with Johnson joined by fellow Americans Jordan Spieth and Rickie Fowler among the favorites.

Play will begin at 6:35 a.m. local time (1:35 a.m. ET) on Thursday, with Mark O'Meara and Ryan Moore joined by Chris Wood in the opening group.

Every minute of the Open Championship, the third major of the year, will be available on the Golf Channel, from 1:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (ET). NBC will provide coverage from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
