Despite the arrival of Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi to Stamford Bridge last week, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is scanning the market for further attacking options.

The London club splashed £33 million ($43 million) on the 22-year-old striker, but spending on the attacking department is not set to stop there for Chelsea.

According to the Daily Mail, Spanish striker Alvaro Morata is being closely monitored by the Premier League club despite returning to Real Madrid from Juventus this summer.

The La Liga club had activated the buy-back clause of £23 million ($30 million), having sold the 23-year-old to Juventus in 2014.

But Chelsea is keeping close tabs on the situation as the European champions is believed to be open to selling the striker for a profit.

Another possible target for Conte, who took Italy to the quarter-final of Euro 2016 before returning to take up his post as Chelsea manager, is Southampton's Graziano Pelle.

Pelle was the focal point of Conte's attack for his Azzurri side in France, and now he may look to use him in the same way at his new club.

Southampton is reported to be open to selling the 30-year-old striker but wants £16 million ($21 million).

Pelle has just one year left on his contract at the Saints.
