Antonio Conte is prepared to pay Everton £68 million ($89 million) to bring Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea this summer, according to reports.
The London club has already seen a £57 million ($75 million) offer rejected for the 23-year-old striker and will now up the price, according to the Daily Mirror.
Lukaku was sold to Everton in 2014 by then-manager Jose Mourinho, now at Manchester United, for £28 million ($37 million).
Conte has already added to his attacking force this summer by bringing Lukaku's countryman Michy Batshuayi to Stamford Bridge, as well as Leicester midfielder N'Golo Kante.
But Conte has also looked at the possibility of signing Real Madrid's Alvaro Morata, sparking speculation that Diego Costa may be on his way out of Chelsea.
