Antonio Conte has suffered more setback at Chelsea after captain John Terry looks set to miss out on the Blues' trip to Hull City on Saturday.

Terry has failed to recover from an ankle injury sustained in the final minutes of Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Swansea City three weeks ago, according to The Times,

The 35-year-old, who continues to be a pivotal part of Chelsea's defense, was sidelined for the defeats to Liverpool and Arsenal, and does not look set to return until the middle of October.

Summer signing David Luiz and Gary Cahill have filled in at center-back but the defense has looked unstable, with Cahill widely blamed for Arsenal's opener last weekend.

Conte is keen to alter Chelsea's formation to bring in three at the back, but is unable to until Terry returns.
