Bournemouth has made an enquiry to Chelsea about taking club captain John Terry on loan until the end of the season, according to reports.

Terry, Chelsea's longest-serving player, is struggling to get into Antonio Conte's team at Stamford Bridge, with David Luiz, Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta excelling.

According to Sky Sports, Bournemouth has looked to take advantage of the situation by seeking whether a loan deal would be possible.

Terry, who has been at Chelsea since 1995, has played 488 times for the club and won 78 caps for England, as well as captaining his nation.

The 36-year-old has previously said he wouldn't play for a rival Premier League club.
