Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he wants his Liverpool team to win six trophies in as many seasons at Anfield.

The German manager, who succeeded Brendan Rodgers in October 2015, wants to bring silverware back to the club after just one major trophy in a decade.

But asked what Klopp saw as achievement at Liverpool, the former Borussia Dortmund boss said he wants a trophy each season.

"I would like to celebrate in six years, six times after six seasons, each time really celebrate something. That would be great," Klopp told the BBC's The Premier League Show.

"Driving on a big bus through Liverpool, celebrating with 700,000 people. I'd love to do that. That would be nice."

Klopp signed a new six-year contract at Liverpool last month to extend his Merseyside stay until 2022.

"It was around the Brexit decision, so everyone was thinking what would happen, and I really liked giving a sign that we are still Europe. Whatever happens, we are still Europe. I live here, we are so similar," he said.

"I feel really good in this moment, and hopefully after six years, we will look back and think it wasn't a waste of time, it was good."

Klopp takes Liverpool to White Hart Lane on Saturday to play Tottenham Hotspur.
