Forgotten midfielder Luis Alberto is for the exit at Anfield after Liverpool agreed a deal with Italian giant Lazio, according to reports.
The 23-year-old Spaniard moved to Merseyside from Barcelona in 2013 but spent the past two seasons on loan at Spanish sides Deportivo La Coruna and Malaga.
Having made just nine appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool, all coming from the bench, the club has now agreed a deal worth £6 million ($7.9 million), according to the Liverpool Echo.
Jurgen Klopp, the Liverpool manager, viewed the midfielder as surplus to requirements after having a depth of options in the middle of the pitch.
Klopp's side has taken four points from three Premier League games after drawing 1-1 with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
