Antonio Conte's Chelsea is looking to swoop in and sign Manchester United target Victor Lindelof in the summer, according to reports.
Jose Mourinho's Manchester United is believed to have been preparing to sign the Swedish center-back this summer, for a deal reported to be around £38 million ($47 million).
But Conte's Chelsea now looks set to hijack its Premier League rivals as it will attempt to sign the 22-year-old Lindelof at the end of the season, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Italian manager has made signing a center-back his top priority in the summer as Chelsea prepares for the departure of captain John Terry.
Conte's team leads the Premier League by eight points.
