Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin is due to have a medical at Everton on Friday as he nears the Old Trafford exit, according to reports.
Jose Mourinho, the Manchester United manager, has said the Frenchman is free to leave the club during the open window in January.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Schneiderlin was set to undergo tests at Everton's Finch Farm training ground ahead of a £20 million ($25 million) move, which is yet to be agreed.
The 27-year-old joined the club in 2015 but has been out of favor since Mourinho took over from Louis van Gaal in the summer of 2016.
West Bromwich Albion had an £18 million ($22 million) bid rejected earlier in the month.
