Former Liverpool and West Ham defender Rigobert Song is reportedly out of a coma and breathing by himself after suffering a stroke on Sunday.
The Cameroonian was said to be fighting for his life after collapsing at his home and being rushed to hospital in Yaounde, the Cameroon capital.
Photographs of Song emerged on Twitter on Tuesday, with the 40 year old reportedly being flown to France to be treated for a cerebral aneurysm.

Song moved to the Premier League in 1999, joining Liverpool from Metz for £2.7 million ($3.5 million) but only ended up making 34 appearances at Anfield before joining West Ham.
Again, the former Cameroon international only featured 24 times for the London club before heading for Lens in the French league in 2002.
Song, who is head coach of Chad's national team, finished his career playing in Turkey for Trabzonspor. He made 137 appearances for Cameroon.
