Former Celtic player and now pundit John Hartson believes Bob Bradley was only given the Swansea City manager's job because of being an American.
Hartson doesn't believe the former Le Havre manager is qualified to be coaching in England's top tier of football, having watched a 4-1 defeat to West Ham on Boxing Day.
Bradley replaced Francesco Guidolin in October after being appointed by the Welsh club's new American owners, but has won just two matches and lost seven.
"Bob Bradley, with all due respect, is a gentleman and a nice fella, but that doesn't win you football matches," Hartson told the BBC.
"Bob Bradley would not be anywhere near Swansea City if it wasn't owned by Americans now. They own 60 percent of the club and they make the big decisions.
"They decided to bring him in. No disrespect to Bob Bradley but what does he really know about Swansea City and the Premier League? He'd probably never watched Swansea City live before."
Swansea sits 19th in the Premier League, joint on points with bottom-place Hull City.
Bradley's side is due to host Bournemouth at the Liberty Stadium on December 31.
