Some Spotify users were experiencing issues with the online web player Thursday morning.
Some users experienced their music cutting out mid-song and the web player logging them out of their accounts. Even after logging back in some users were still having a hard time getting their music to play.
Users were reporting Spotify being down and not working to the website Down Detector with the majority of the problems they cited being "music streaming."
Users were also tweeting about the apparent outage on the web player too.
Some users could see their playlists and the music they wanted to listen to but pressing the "play" button did no good. Pressing play resulted in no music playing, even though the users were in the playlist they wanted to listen to.
Users were getting creative trying everything they could think of to try and get their music playing again. One user tried playing music on their phone to see if it would work but the attempt was unsuccessful.
Users were also frustrated that the service they paid for wasn't working.
The Spotify Cares Twitter account did not post anything about the web player not working but was responding to users when they shared their individual problems.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
