'Star Trek: Discovery' Season 4: When Is It Out and How Can You Watch It?

Sonequa Martin-Green's Michael Burnham and the crew of the USS Discovery are once again going to boldly go where no one has gone before.

Season 4 will follow Burnham and the USS Discovery crew as they try and stop an anomaly in space from destroying all life as they know it.

Here is everything you need to know about the new season— including where to watch it, when it will be released, and who will be starring in it.

When Is 'Star Trek: Discovery' Season 4 Out?

Episodes of Star Trek: Discovery will be released on a weekly basis, and four episodes have been announced so far.

It is currently unclear how many episodes there will be in total in Season 4, but Season 1 consisted of 15 episodes, Season 2 had 14, and Season 3 had 13.

Star Trek: Discovery will air from Thursday, November 18.

Where Can You Watch 'Star Trek: Discovery' Season 4?

For fans of the show based in North America, Star Trek: Discovery Season 4 will be released on Paramount+.

Episodes will be added on the streaming platform every week, with each episode going up at midnight PST.

The time each episode will be released across North America is as follows:

  • 3 a.m. EST
  • 1 a.m. MST
  • 2 a.m. CST
  • 10 p.m. on November 17 HST
  • 11 p.m. on November 17 AKST

What About International Fans?

In Canada, Season 4 will be released on the CTV Sci-Fi channel before being streamed on Crave the next day.

On Tuesday, November 16, it was announced that those based outside of the U.S. and Canada would not be able to watch Season 4 until early 2022, when Paramount+ is launched globally.

Seasons 1-3 of the show were also removed from Netflix shortly after the announcement, and they will instead be put on Paramount+.

In an interview with Deadline, ViacomCBS Networks International streaming boss Kelly Day said of the decision: "As we rapidly expand our global streaming footprint, we are bringing more of our top titles home to ViacomCBS for Paramount+ markets around the world.

"We have a strong global and local content pipeline that positions us for success across our regions, and repatriating beloved series like Star Trek: Discovery for Paramount+ is another step forward as we bring fans more must-watch series worldwide."

Who Will Be Starring in 'Star Trek: Discovery' Season 4?

As previously mentioned, Martin-Green will be back in her role as Burnham, captain of the USS Discovery.

Other cast members set to return include Doug Jones as Saru, Anthony Rapp as Paul Stamets, Mary Wiseman as Sylvia Tilly, Wilson Cruz as Hugh Culber, David Ajala as Cleveland "Book" Booker, and Blu del Barrio as Adira Tal.

Notable guests appearing in Season 4 include Tig Notaro in the role of Jett Reno, and director David Cronenberg as Kovich.

Star Trek: Discovery Season 4 will air weekly from Thursday, November 18 on Paramount+.
