Star Wars: 'The Rise of Skywalker' to Coat United Airlines Jet This Fall

United Airlines announced Friday it will fly domestically with an intergalactica look this fall. The airline launched models of what their new Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker jetliner will resemble, and fans have gone crazy.

United will feature a Boeing 737-800 aircraft to fly through the domestic galaxy before the premier of the newest movie in the Star Wars franchise The Rise of Skywalker, which is scheduled for a release on Dec. 20, 2019.

"At United, our mission is to connect people and unite the world, which is exactly what the Star Wars franchise has epically done for more than four decades," United stated in a release on SFgate.com. "For many of our customers, Star Wars was ceremonially introduced to them as a child, with families gathering to watch together and ultimately passing on their love for these films to new generations.

"The aircraft will be exploring the 'domestic galaxy' and will not be assigned a specific route, meaning customers across the US may have the opportunity to travel on this unique plane," a United Airlines spokesperson said.

Star Wars released this trailer of the movie on Friday, and it had more than 10 million YouTube views by early Saturday.

The retweets on social media flew at warp speed as junkies competed to win tickets to the movie's premier just before the Christmas blockbuster movie season.

This isn't the first time an airline has gone all out for a Star Wars theme. Japan's All Nippon AIrways in 2015 recognized The Force Awakens with its Boeing 767-300 planes by featuring BB-8 and R2-D2, according to CNET.com.
