Craving your usual Starbucks order on Christmas Day? Depending on your location, you could still get that peppermint mocha or caramel brulée latte to celebrate the winter holiday.
Christmas Day 2023, celebrated on December 25, is on a Monday this year. As a federal holiday, many stores, offices and other services will be closed. But some stores, including Starbucks, will remain open.
On the coffee giant's website, Starbucks says that store hours for the Christmas holidays will vary location by location. Newsweek reached out to Starbucks via email for further information.
"Stores may occasionally adjust their hours based on business and customer needs," Starbucks said. Customers are encouraged to use the Starbucks app or the store locater on Starbucks' website to check for their local location's opening and closing hours for Christmas Eve.
"The Starbucks app continues to be the best way for customers to find a store, check store hours, and order ahead and pay," Starbucks said.
Newsweek reviewed some Starbucks store locations across the country and whether or not they're open on Monday, December 25 for your Christmas caffeine buzz.
In New York City, Starbucks stores located at Park Row at Beekman St, Church Street & Murray, Nassau & Fulton, Chambers and West Broadway, World Trade Center Oculus, 195 Broadway, 100 William Street, W Broadway & Leonard Street and Broadway & Thames show that they will be open on Monday, December 25.
Other stores located at Broadway & Reade, Lafayette & Worth, 375 Pearl Street, 6th Ave at Walker Street, Brookfield Place 2 (230 Vesey) and Avenue A & St. Marks show that they will be closed on Christmas Day.
In Los Angeles, Starbucks stores located at DTLA Grand Park, Two Cal Plaza and Vermont & Wilshire will be closed on Monday, December 25.
A majority of other Starbucks stores show they will be open on Monday, such as ones located at Cesar Chavez & Broadway, 2nd & Central, 6th & Spring, 6th & Grand, 8th & Olive and 6th & Bixel.
Chicago Starbucks stores located at Clark & Jackson, State & Adams, 55 E. Jackson, Jackson & Wells, LaSalle & Monroe, 200 West Adams, Madison & Wells, 30 N. LaSalle, 150 North Wacker Drive and 150 N. Riverside will be closed on December 25.
Other Starbucks stores in Chicago located at 200 S. Michigan Avenue, 8 North Michigan, Union Station Chicago, Randolph & Wabash and 200 North Michigan Avenue will be open on Monday.
Newsweek previously compiled a list detailing which stores will be open on Christmas Eve, such as Walmart, CVS, Target and Walgreens, as well as different Starbucks location opening and closing hours for Christmas Eve.
