Dollar, dollar bills y'all.
Treasury Secretary Steve Mnunchin and his actress wife, Louise Linton, posed for photos with the first dollar bills that feature his signature at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing on Wednesday — and the internet promptly exploded, mocking Mnuchin's facial expression and even Linton's glamorous black gloves.
"See, honey? $1 bills! I *told* you the poors have their own money!" said Twitter user who identifies herself as @goldengateblond.
"Steve Mnuchin and his wife show off their new line of luxury toilet paper," added @JordanUhl.
"Find someone who looks at you the way Louise Linton looks at Steve Mnuchin holding a sheet of dollar bills with his name on them," added Twitter user Christopher Ingraham.
"Why do Treasury Sec Mnuchin and his wife insist on posing for photos that make them look like Bond villains?" added Twitter user Christina Wilkie
It's not the first time Mnuchin and Linton have become an internet meme. Back in August, Linton posted a glam shot of herself exiting a government airplane and, after she was criticized, bragged about how much money she and her husband have.
Currently, the Treasury's inspector general is investigating Mnuchin and Linton's trip.
The $1 bill photos were taken during a Treasury Department announcement of the new bills. The currency expected to enter circulation in December.
