'Stranger Things' Season 3 Teaser Trailer Includes Titles For All 8 Episodes, Sparks Fan Theories

Netflix lovers are going back to Hawkins, Indiana with their favorite supernatural force-fighting kids in 2019. Stranger Things released its second teaser Sunday night, this time with episode titles. The new teaser follows a fun and goofy look into the Starcourt mall, which seems to be a focal point of the new series.

The third season will have eight episodes, the same as Season 1, and one less than Season 2. The titles are as follows.

1. "Suzie, Do You Copy?"

2. "The Mall Rats"

3. "The Case Of The Missing Lifeguard"

4. "The Sauna Test"

5. "The Source"

6. "The Birthday"

7. "The Bite"

8. "The Battle of Starcourt"

By looking at the titles alone, it seems the Starcourt mall may be of major importance in the upcoming season, especially in the last episode. The Hawkins hub was not featured in previous episodes. The trailer also explains the setting of Season 3. "In the summer of 1985, the adventure continues…" the screen, among the Stranger Things lettering and theme music reads.

The Starcourt trailer, released in July, teased the up-and-coming, '80s inspired mall. Shots of the mall's interior feature iconic '80s stores Claire's, Sam Goody and The Gap. The relevance of the mall is unknown, but YouTube users who commented on the teaser have some ideas. The most-liked comment comes from user JustCallMeBo, who explained the new gate to the Upside Down could be hidden in the mall.

Season 2 of Stranger Things followed the kids as Will recovered from his time in the Upside Down. He was unable to break his connection with it, seeing visions of monsters all around him. Eleven was missing at the start of the season, and in her place, the boys befriended Max. The kids battled the Mind Flayer, with Steve as an ally, reconnected with Eleven, and Will seems to leave behind his creepy connection to the alternate world.

A thread on the Stranger Things subreddit dives into some possible angles for Season 3. As of Season 2, Eleven's mind control powers are a secret to everyone, except her close friends and new family. One redditor, OtheDreamer, doesn't think her powers will stay hidden from Hawkins for long, and sees a plot emerging to expose her secrets.

The user also predicts Will may not be totally free of the Upside Down, and said "You just don't get over some of the ish he's been through."

Stranger Things Season 3 comes to Netflix in 2019.
