Tanked star Heather King filed for divorce from Wayde King on Friday, according to the legal paperwork obtained by TMZ. The news of the pair's pending split comes just days after King was allegedly arrested for assaulting her husband.

King and Wayde are known for co-staring on the Animal Planet reality series, which takes viewers inside a booming fish tank business. The impressive and expensive tanks showcase underwater creativity, fit for any environment.

While the details on King's alleged assault are unconfirmed, reports claim the Animal Planet star was arrested after cops were called to the couple's home. King was allegedly booked for misdemeanor domestic assault, according to TMZ. She was not kept in jail, and was able to leave later in the day. Reports say King kicked and slapped Wayde in the middle of an argument, People reported.

The couple have been married for 21 years. In the divorce, King is asking for primary custody of the pair's children, according to TMZ. She's also asking for Wayde to provide healthcare for their children, as well as child support equal to 25 percent of his annual income, and for her own spousal support.

King also acknowledged she'd like to keep her married last name in the paperwork, TMZ explained.

King, Wayde and Animal Planet have not commented on the divorce or alleged assault. Not only were King and Wayde married, but King was actively involved in the business, which is run by her brother, father and soon-to-be ex-husband, Acrylic Tank Manufacturing, that appears on Animal Planet. King's bio on the show's website reads as follows.

"It would be great if all Heather King had to handle at ATM was the books. But working alongside her father, brother and husband in one office every day is a little more than an average day job; it's clearly a labor of love," the Animal Planet bio reads. "Heather is the absolute love of Wayde's life and handles all the accounting at ATM. Seeing Wayde in his glory doing what he is most passionate about makes the struggles of mixing business with pleasure well worth it. Heather knew a lot about accounting when she started, having run her father's machinery business for a few years, but she was in the deep end when it came to fish."

The bio continues, stating Heather loves to dance, and also wants to see her two daughters take over the company someday.
