Taylor Swift Gives Fans a Rare Glimpse Inside Her PDA-Filled Romance With Travis Kelce

Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek's network of contributors

Taylor Swift is keeping her fans (and boyfriend!) well-fed.

One day after the release of her surprise double album The Tortured Poets Department, the singer-songwriter shared a behind-the-scenes look at her life (and romance with Travis Kelce) with a sweet video featuring her new single, "Fortnight," featuring Post Malone.

The YouTube Short — during which Swift encouraged Swifties to "share [their] 'fortnight' recap with #ForAFortnightChallenge" — the "Maroon" artist shared private moments from her personal life: frosting cinnamon buns in the kitchen (complete with a sweet smooch on the cheek from Kelce), playing pickleball with a Kansas City Chiefs paddle, sewing, spending time with her cats and more. (Swift also appeared to pay tribute to longtime bestie Abigail Anderson's alma mater by wearing a University of Kansas crewneck.)

While Swift and Kelce have been packing on the PDA since getting together in late summer 2023, this is the first time the 14-time Grammy winner has shared such a personal peek inside their relationship.

Of course, the footage was also released on the heels of "The Alchemy," the TTPD track that fans and critics immediately theorized to be about her romance with Kelce, given the NFL-laden imagery the song evokes.

"Shirts off and your friends lift you up over their heads / Beer stickin' to the floor, cheers chanted 'cause they said, 'There was no chance trying to be the greatest in the league,'" she sings. "Where's the trophy? He just comes runnin' over to me."

As for the cinnamon rolls in the 15-second YouTube short, it looks like they're a favorite pre-game snack of Kelce's.

In December 2023, former NFL star Bernie Kosar explained the story behind a viral photo of himself and Swift at Kelce's house, telling Audacy's AM 560 Sports WQAM that the picture was taken during a "pregame meal," where she brought the homemade confection.

"Taylor is so nice she comes in by herself and she's so cool," Kosar explained. "She made her homemade cinnamon rolls for Travis for pregame meal."
