Taylor Swift's Philadelphia show on Saturday didn't go as planned and resulted in the pop star singing an a cappella throwback tune. The singer was suspended in a floating basket, one that was intended to drift above the audience, when she realized she was stuck mid-air.

Twitter user Lisa Marie Latino uploaded a video of the event. As Swift sang her hit single "Delicate," she spoke about the mishap, letting fans know she was, in fact, stuck.

"I'm pretty sure I'm stuck up here," she said during an instrumental break. Moments later she added, "It's a really nice view though."

Another user, @Taylor_SlaysAll, captured a video of Swift on a video screen, her face confused as she examined the device. Meanwhile, she kept singing.

After "Delicate," in a normal show, Swift would retreat to a "B stage" where she would interact with a set of fans sitting farther from the main stage. Because of the basket's inability to move, Swift was unable to get to the B stage. Instead, she sang "Our Song" on the main stage, void of flashy backgrounds or instrumentals. Fans belted along as Swift sang her first single a cappella.

The Philadelphia show was special to Swift, as she mentioned on her Instagram account, because it took place in her hometown. The July 14 show was her second show in the city. During her visit to Philadelphia, Swift visited her childhood home along with friends. She posted photos standing on a driveway, holding a photo of herself as a child in the same spot, and of her new friends sitting in her childhood room.

Swift's Reputation tour is said to be one of her best yet, as Rolling Stone reported on the tour's opening night. The tour is said to be an immersive experience for both fans and Swift, a larger-than-life performer who is spotlighting her own negative reputation in exchange for sold-out arenas of tens of thousands of fans.

Swift embraced the idea of being called a snake on her November 2017 album, and her tour has followed. Fans of Kim Kardashian-West posted the snake on the singer's social media accounts following a released phone call between Kanye West and Swift in which Swift appeared to agree to a line about her in West's track "Famous." Swift had publicly denounced the line, saying she hadn't agreed to being called a "bitch" in the song.
