Taylor Swift Fans Are Losing It Over Travis Kelce's Brother

Taylor Swift's mega-fandom, better known as Swifties, rallied around her boyfriend's brother after he bowed out of the NFL playoffs.

The singer has been dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce since July and his big brother, Jason Kelce, was seen crying after his team lost their sudden death game on Monday.

Jason Kelce is a center for the Philadelphia Eagles who suffered a season-ending loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, going down 32-9 on Monday.

Media reports have said that Jason Kelce told teammates he is retiring from the game. Newsweek has contacted the Eagles for comment via email.

A video of him crying after the loss went viral on social media, with Swifties stepping in to share their support for Jason Kelce.

"i am crying over a 36 yo football player crying, how did this happen?" wrote one person on X, formerly Twitter.

A second posted: "six months ago i gave zero f**** about football & now i'm crying about taylor swift's boyfriend's brother possibly playing his last game"

And a third added: "Some football player decided to make a friendship bracelet for Taylor 7 months ago and now all of swiftie twt is in shambles over his brother."

Some people criticized Swifties over their empathy for Jason.

"I'm sorry but I am not about to feel bad for Taylor Swift's future brother-in-law who has won a Super Bowl and will eat and drink free in Philadelphia forever," wrote one person on X.

Another commented: "you guys are krazy why do you care about taylors bf's brother retirement."

Travis Kelce recently admitted he got emotional when the Eagles made a case for Jason Kelce to be added to the NFL Hall of Fame.

The brothers spoke about the Eagles' 27-minute-long video about Jason Kelce being inducted into Canton during the latest episode of their podcast, New Heights.

"There's nothing better than what the Eagles posted about you," he said. "The 30-minute highlight video of why Jason Kelce transcended the game of football and why you should undoubtedly be in the Hall of Fame? Dude, it was f****** unbelievable. I cried. And there isn't even a moment when you should be crying. It was great, man."

Travis Kelce and Swift went public with their romance in September after he attended her Eras Tour show in Kansas City. He revealed on the New Heights podcast that he had tried to meet Swift at the show but she was on vocal rest.

The "Bad Blood" singer revealed it was the discussion on the podcast that got her attention.

"This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell," she told Time magazine in December. "We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I'm grateful for because we got to get to know each other."
