Cat Owner's Ingenious Idea to Make Three-Legged Sports Fan Feel at Home

Cats are becoming increasingly spoiled as more and more owners consider them part of their family rather than just pets that they own. A three-legged cat called Mr. Biscuit is no exception.

The adorable cat has gone viral online after his owner shared a clip of his new "man cave," where he can finally watch television in peace.

In the hilarious clip shared on Instagram earlier this month by @mrbiscuitsthetripod, the ginger cat can be seen chilling in his new favorite spot, an empty box, with an iPad fixed on the top so he can watch sports.

"We made Mr Biscuits a man cave to watch his sports programs," the caption on the video reads. "Just men being men."

A survey carried out recently by Pew Research Center has found that more than half of American pet owners consider their furbabies a part of the family, on the same level as any other human member.

The survey shows that women are more likely to consider dogs members of their family. People living in urban areas are also more likely to feel that way than people living in rural communities.

However, parents and married people are less likely to consider pets on par with the human members of their family than people who are divorced, separated, widowed or have never married.

The video quickly went viral on social media since it was posted on February 11. The post has so far received over 374,860 likes on the platform.

One user, @littlebeanfirmtofu, commented: "Him looking back and saying 'can I get some chips in here"

Commenter @jacksplace99 said: "Honey, be a doll and grab me a beef jerky," while @sleeping_awake575 wrote: "Aww he's a Bengals fan. He has stolen my heart!"

Another Instagram user, @Flamof4, told Mr Biscuit's owners, who run The Happy Hour Shop in Chicago: "Ha ha With some tweaking this could be a product for the new store! Keep us posted on Mr. Biscuit's favorite game day drink. And we know he loves Kelly Clarkson but is he a Swiftie?"

Commenter @Alisonreneew said: "Even animals be on their dang phones these days."

And @trendy_style101 said: "When you're a Kitty, of course your favorite team is the BENGALS."
