Tiger Woods' quest for a fifth Masters title will begin just after 11 a.m. ET on Thursday morning, alongside Spain's Jon Rahm and China's Haotong Li.

The 83rd edition of the tournament gets underway on Thursday at its traditional home of Augusta, Georgia, and Woods' group will be the 15th out on the course of the Augusta National Golf Club on the opening day.

Tiger will be followed by Rory McIlroy, with the 7/1 favorite teeing off at 11:15 a.m. ET alongside Rickie Fowler and Australia's Cameron Smith.

"I feel like I can win," the 43-year-old said on Tuesday, as per Golf Channel. "I've proven that I can do it. I put myself there with a chance to win the last two major championships of the year last year. I was right there and just needed to have a couple more things to go my way and not throw away a couple shots here and there, which I was able to do at East Lake.

Defending champion Patrick Reed steps out on the course at 10:31 a.m. ET alongside Webb Simpson and Norway's Viktor Hovland, one of only six amateurs in the tournament.

The last three groups going out on Thursday promise to be particularly compelling, with world number two Dustin Johnson joining Bryson DeChambeau and 2011 Masters runner-up Jason Day on the course at 1:38 p.m. ET.

The trio are followed 11 minutes later by five-time major winner Phil Mickelson, world number one golfer Justin Rose and Justin Thomas. The final group of the day, meanwhile, includes 2015 Masters winner Jordan Spieth, Brooks Koepka and England's Paul Casey.

The former hasn't won a major since triumphing at The Open in 2017 and has not finished in the top five of any tournament since he did so at Augusta a year ago. In the following 22 starts, he has missed the cut five times and has finished in the top 10 just once.

However, despite a winless streak stretching to 40 events, the Texan remained positive ahead of the first major of the year.

"My expectations are high this week," Spieth told PGA.com. "I feel great about the state of my game right now. I feel like my recent results aren't a tell of where my game is actually at.

"Certainly form is important, especially on and around the greens, feeling like you're in control of your speed control, distance control, your spin control, having all the shots around here. That's more important, I think, than like overall how you played prior."
