After a disappointing performance at the PGA Championship, Tiger Woods returns to action at the Memorial Tournament.

Having clinched a first major in 11 years with a spectacular win at the Masters in April, Woods found himself at the other end of the spectrum in the second major of the season two weeks ago.

The 15-time major winner shot 5-over par in the first two rounds at Bethpage Black, New York, and missed the cut by a stroke. However, with the U.S. Open looming large on the horizon, the 43-year-old will be looking to bounce back at the Memorial Tournament.

The event, which Woods has won a record five times, will be the last tournament Tiger enters before the U.S. Open, which gets underway on June 13 in Pebble Beach, California.

Here's everything you need to know about the Memorial Tournament.

When and where is the tournament?

As it has been the case since inception in 1976, the Memorial Tournament will be staged at Muirfield Village Golf Club in the suburbs of Columbus, Ohio. The tournament gets underway at 7:20 a.m. ET.

Bryson DeChambeau is the defending champion after beating Kyle Stanley and South Korea's An-Byeong-hun in a playoff last year.

Over the last 10 years, the winning score has on average been 14.6 shots below par.
