Fox News's Tomi Lahren Angrily Slams Cardi B Over 'Dog Walk' Comment About Government Shutdown Feud

Conservative commentator Tomi Lahren appeared on Fox News Tuesday night to talk about her Twitter riff with rapper Cardi B. The former television host was angrily fueled by a comment from Cardi which said the rapper would 'dog walk' her.

Urban dictionary defines "dog walk" as "to kick someone's a**."

"To put it simply, I saw that video that she had posted, and, you know, I implied that Cardi B isn't the person we should be taking our political advice from," Lahren explained on the news show, according to Raw Story. "And instead of arguing about the merits of her political argument, she said that she was going to 'dog walk' me! Viewers can look up on Urban Dictionary what dog-walking someone means, but the point, simply, is to severely beat somebody up. So we go from a political disagreement to, 'I want to hurt you!'"

She later tried to turn the tables. "Can you imagine if I threatened to dog walk Cardi B or anyone else?" she said.

Cardi's response to Lahren was met with left-leaning celebration, along with support by many of Cardi's fans. It nearly instantly became an online conversation and meme-like joke.

Along with her "dog walk" comment, Cardi explained why Lahren should take a step back and examine the president. "You're so blinded with racism that you don't even realize the decisions the president you root for is destroying the country you claim to love so much," Cardi said on Twitter Sunday. "You are a perfect example on no matter how educated or smart you think you are you still a SHEEP!"

The rapper has started a long political conversation, most notably commenting on the government shut down in a video posted on January 17. The video explains, in Cardi's opinion, the American government is in a bad state and Americans should be worried. Her video was met with praise from not only her fans, but also from Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who said they would defeat the government shutdown together.

Lahren initiated the entire conversation with Cardi on Twitter when she responded seemingly to Cardi's recent political comments on January 16. "Looks like @iamcardib is the latest genius political mind to endorse the Democrats," she tweeted. "HA! Keep it up, guys! #MAGA2020"

The political commentator is best known for her role on Fox and Friends, which, according to the Internet Movie Database, she's participated in from 2015 to 2019.
