Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes' Steakhouse Shares Sneak Peek

The steakhouse of Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce is coming along nicely as they gave fans another look at the sleek bar.

Just weeks after they revealed they were going into business together, the NFL all-pros shared a sneak peek of the bar in their restaurant called 1587 Prime. The name is a nod to the numbers on the players' respective jerseys.

Mahomes and Kelce posted an artist's rendition of what the bar is planned to look like with tasteful cane cabinets and rounded wood features overlooking the open kitchen.

Brown stools surround the wooden bar in the image shared to the restaurant's official Instagram page.

"Views from the bar," the account captioned the post with an emoji of a martini glass.

The new image comes after fans were shown pictures of the wider dining area earlier this month. The nine pictures combined made a larger image giving insight into the mid-century modern-inspired restaurant with wooden floors, minimalistic furniture, and bold, geometric lighting fixtures.

The steakhouse will be in Loews Kansas City Hotel and opened in conjunction with the Noble 33 hospitality group.

"We're excited to be a part of this journey with Noble 33 to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience, and what better place to start than our very own Kansas City," Kelce said in a statement published in People.

Kelce and Mahomes described the modern steakhouse as the "ultimate experiential dining destination," and it will span 10,000 square feet over two floors with "hyper-subtle nods" to the pair's football achievements.

The players have long had a close bond, from their record-breaking play on the field to spending family time with Kelce and his new girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

The 34-year-old tight end was even a groomsman in Mahomes' 2022 wedding to wife Brittany Mahomes.

"His family and my family have almost become one family," Mahomes told ESPN's Jeff Darlington in 2023. "Because the relationship that we have, and how we've kind of become these brothers on the football field."

Mahomes even had high praise for Swift, who went public with her relationship to Kelce in September 2023.

"When [Taylor is] talking about football, when she's learning it, you can see her business mind putting it together. It's almost like she's trying to become a coach," Patrick shared in his profile of Time's Most 100 Influential People in the World, which was published on Tuesday, April 16. "[She asks], 'Why can't you try this, this and this?' She's asking the right questions."

UPDATE: 04/03/2024, 9:25 a.m. EDT. This article was updated to reflect the name of the hospitality group.
