In the past, major restaurant chains such as Subway and Hooters have offered everything from free subs and wings to champagne and more. Valentine's Day Freebies: Desserts, Pretzels and More Free Food

• Auntie Anne's (Free Pretzel) - On Valentine's Day, buy one heart-shaped pretzel and get one free with a coupon.
• California Tortilla (Free Chips): Sign up to be a Burrito Elito member by February 13 at midnight and get a free order of chips and queso on Valentines Day.
• Corner Bakery Café (Free Entree): From February 13-16 get a buy one, get one free entrée deal. This is for Dine-in customers only.
• Firehouse Subs (Free Desert): On Valentine's Day, get a free dessert with a coupon and any purchase at participating locations. You can find the coupon on Firehouse's social media accounts.
• Fogo de Chão (Free Lunch/Dinner): This special runs February 14 through 17. Couples who have a full churrasco lunch, dinner or Sunday Brunch will get a dining card redeemable for a free churrasco lunch, dinner or Sunday Brunch of equal or greater value. The card can be redeemed Feb. 18 through May 2.

• Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (Free Drink): On Valentine's Day from 2 p.m. to closing time, customers can get a free drink with any regular or larger size purchase.

• Baskin-Robbins: Baskin-Robbins has a special Love & Kisses Sundae available for $5 on Valentine's Day. The sundae includes scoops of cherry cordial ice cream with Hershey's Kisses, Love Potion 31 and Very Berry Strawberry ice creams.
• Black Angus Steakhouse: Catch Black Angus' tasty prime rib and crab cake special February 14 -17. For just $29.99, customers get prime rib, a crab cake, choice of two Classic Sidekicks and bread.
• Bojangles: Heart-shaped Bo-Berry biscuits are available now through Valentine's Day.
• Buca di Beppo: A heart-shaped lasagna is available on Valentine's Day at Buca di Beppo. For $49.99 you can get the lasagna, a Buca small mixed green or Caesar salad, garlic bread and mini chocolate chip cannoli. It feeds up to three.
• California Pizza Kitchen: From Wednesday through Sunday, you can order your favorite CPK pizza on a heart-shaped crust or get a meal for two from a prix fixe menu for $35.
• Carrabba's: Get a Valentine's special for two for $45. The four-course dinner for two is available through Saturday.
• Carrows Restaurants: From Thursday through Sunday get a dinner for two from a special menu for $32.99.
• Carvel: Carvel is offering a Chocolate Decadence Heart cake on Valentine's Day.
• Chevy's Fresh Mex: Get a three-course meal for two through Thursday. The menu includes steak fajitas, chicken fajita nachos and more.
• Chick-fil-A: Get a heart-shaped tray of 30 Chick-fil-A Nuggets, 10 Chick-n-Minis or six Chocolate Chunk cookies.
