Video: 2 Men Save Dangling Toddler's Life By Climbing 4 Floors Up Side of Building in Rescue Effort

Dramatic footage has emerged showing the moment two men climbed up the front of a building in order to save a 3-year-old girl seen dangling from a fourth-floor window in China.

Video of the rescue in Changshu, Jiangsu Province, was posted on Weibo—China's version of Twitter—following the incident on September 7.

The clip shows the men scaling up the apartment building after spotting the unclothed girl as she desperately hangs on to the ledge railings.

The men, believed to be a delivery driver and a local small business owner, managed to save the girl after spotting her while driving past the building. The man seen in a white T-shirt in the clip is reported to have grabbed the girl from the ledge within two minutes.

"It was about 10 o'clock in the morning when I saw the little girl dangling outside the window, totally naked. I saw a man got off a vehicle and dashed to the building. He swiftly climbed up to save the child," a neighbor said, reports CCTV Plus.

The girl is believed to have been left alone in the apartment by her father while she slept. She then walked out onto the ledge after managing to unlock the bedroom window.

Police later identified the two hero's as Zhu Zuling, 33, and Wu Qingxiang, 44, reports the Mail Online. Both are expected to be rewarded for their bravery by authorities.

"I feel so grateful to the two heroes who saved my kid. I know that it was really dangerous even for the men themselves to climb up so high on the building," the girl's father told CCTV Plus. He was later given a warning from police after leaving his child alone, according to reports.

Earlier this year, Mamoudou Gassama became famous around the world after a video of him climbing up an apartment building in Paris to rescue a small boy went viral.

Gassama, later dubbed "La Spiderman" was granted French citizenship by President Emmanuel Macron and offered a job as a firefighter, thanks to his heroics in May. Gassama was also handed a gold medal for courage and devotion by the French president at the Élysée Palace.

"You have become an example because millions of people have seen you. It is only right that the nation be grateful," Macron told Gassama, Agence France-Presse reported at the time.
