The European soccer season comes to a close on Saturday, as Real Madrid and Liverpool meet in the Champions League final in Kiev.
The game kicks off at 2:45 p.m. EDT on Saturday and fans can choose from a number of options to watch the action live. Fox Sports and ESPN Deportes will broadcast the game live on TV and the former will also make it available on its streaming service.
Meanwhile, Fubo Premier, DirectTV Now and Sling Blue will only be streaming the game live. All three are paid services, but the former offers a seven-day trial, so fans can use it to watch the final and then cancel afterwards.
Having become the first side to successfully defend the trophy since the inception of the Champions League last season, Real Madrid is bidding to become the first team to win the tournament three times in a row since Bayern Munich achieved the feat between 1974 and 1976.
The defending champions have lifted the trophy in three of the last four seasons but rode their luck to reach the final. In the quarterfinals, the 12-time European Cup winners won the first leg against Juventus 3-0 away from home but needed a last-minute penalty to knock out the Serie A giants after going three goals down at home.
In the semifinals, Real won 2-1 in Munich against Bayern in the first leg and led by the same score in the second leg, before Bayern equalized and came within inches of a finding a late winner.
Liverpool, meanwhile, knocked out AS Roma in the semifinals to reach its first final since 2007, when they lost 2-1 to AC Milan in Athens, Greece. Having dismantled the Serie A side 5-2 in the first leg in a brilliant display of attacking football, the Merseysiders conceded two late goals to lose the return leg 4-2 but never looked in danger of being knocked out.
Jurgen Klopp's men are the first English club to reach the final stage of the competition since Chelsea beat Bayern Munich in 2012 and while they go into the game as the underdogs, Real Madrid must not underestimate their firepower.
Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane tore Manchester City to shreds in the quarterfinals, as Liverpool progressed 5-1 winners on aggregate and the trio's exhilarating pace will be a threat for Real Madrid's defense.
The Reds will be desperate to add a sixth European Cup to their cabinet, particularly as they have lifted just two trophies since they became European champions in 2005, when they famously came back from 3-0 down at halftime to beat AC Milan on penalties in Istanbul.
Curiously, Liverpool and Real Madrid have already met once in a European Cup final, with the Reds winning 1-0 thanks to a late goal from Alan Kennedy in 1981.
