How to Watch Emmys 2018 Opening Skit with Kate McKinnon, Kenan Thompson and More

The 70th annual Primetime Emmy Awards has arrived Monday on NBC, broadcasting live from the Microsoft Theater in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. This night is a can't-miss occasion, for one, due to it superb opening skit alone.

Before presenters started giving out trophies, hosts Michael Che and Colin Jost of Saturday Night Live fame recruited their fellow NBC colleagues to kickstart the show. Comedic actors Kate McKinnon and Kenan Thompson took to the Emmys stage to perform a mini skit with the likes of Kristen Bell, Andy Samberg, RuPaul, Sterling K. Brown, Tituss Burgess, Ricky Martin and John Legend to deliver a tastefully crafted opener filled with several political moments.

"We solved it," the group sang. The hilarious skit centered around Hollywood's diversity issue, which they mocked due to the improvements that could be made.
