Woody Allen's first foray into the world of scripted television—teaming up with Miley Cyrus, no less—is coming to Amazon in September.

The digital giant announced Sunday that the one-off, six-episode comedy miniseries, Crisis in Six Scenes, will launch on September 30.

Allen, who directed, produced and wrote the show, will star alongside Cyrus and Elaine May in the 1960s-set series about a family whose lives are turned upside down by the arrival of an unexpected visitor.

Amazon released a teaser trailer for the series. Watch below:

The project marks the first time Allen has developed a series for television and also marks Cyrus' first TV acting project since finding fame as Disney's Hannah Montana. (She will also appear in an unscripted role, as a judge on The Voice, this fall.)

Amazon also confirmed that the third season of Emmy Award-winning comedy Transparent, starring Jeffrey Tambor, will premiere on September 23.
