Watch: Tim Peake's Time-Lapse Video Shows What a Lightning Storm Looks Like From Space

Tim Peake is using his time aboard the International Space Station (ISS) to offer intriguing insights into an astronaut's perspective from zero-gravity.

In his latest video, Peake has created a time-lapse of a lightning storm viewed as he travelled over North Africa and Turkey towards Russia.

Since becoming the first British astronaut to be sent on a mission to the ISS in December 2015, Peak has demonstrated how to make a cup of coffee in space, have a shower, and play ping-pong, all while carrying out his daily duties, and training for the London Marathon.
