What Is the Q Anon Movement, and Is It Related to Kevin Spacey?

A reddit user questioned if Kevin Spacey's MIA status is related to the Q Anon movement after Newsweek reported Sunday Spacey hasn't been spotted in a year. The actor was last photographed in November 2017 at a rehabilitation center. Reddit user u/PCisLame questioned the timing of Spacey's disappearance in relation to the birth of the pro-Trump, Q Anon movement.

According to PCisLame, the Q Anon movement was born on October 28, 2017. The user noted Spacey was accused of sexual assault by Anthony Rapp, the first of 15 accusers, on October 29, 2017. His last public appearance was on October 27, 2017 at the AMD British Academy Britannia Awards. The claim doesn't imply the movement had to do with the downfall of Spacey, but seems to suggest the formation of Q Anon and Spacey's scandal may be related. The user shared the conversation in the "World Politics" and "Libertarian: Free Markets, Free Societies, Free Minds" subreddits.

The Q Anon movement was born on 4Chan and 8Chan, two of the most controversial internet forums, and suggests the moderator, "Q" is leaking confidential government information via cryptic clues, or "breadcrumbs" to its followers, the "anons," according to The Daily Beast. Many of the followers believe Q is an inside member of the Trump administration.

The conspiracy further suggests all Presidents before Trump were criminally corrupt. With that knowledge, Q Anon suggests the American military encouraged Trump to run for President knowing the sickening behavior of the leaders before him. They are waiting for "The Storm," in which anons expect Trump will send the corrupt former leaders, including Hillary Clinton, to Guantanamo Bay.

So what about the Q Anon movement implies Spacey may be related? The Q Anon movement suggests Hollywood elite figures may be responsible for global evil. Spacey's situation, being accused of sexual assault, came to public light the day after the Q Anon movement first surfaced. It seems PCisLame may think the rupture of Spacey's reputation, and exposure of said "evil" doings, could be an exposing move by the group who wants to see the fall of those they believe to be cruel.

One Reddit user on the thread, username "outtanutmeds," questioned if Spacey could have been sacrificed by a cult for his actions. "What are you getting at? Do you think the Illuminati sacrificed him for f****** up? I'm not being sarcastic. I've been reading about this stuff and it is pretty scary if it is true."

Spacey's current whereabouts are unknown. The last statement he made public before vanishing was an apology to Rapp for the actions he alleged he didn't remember. In the statement, posted to Spacey's Twitter on October 29, 2017, Spacey also came out as gay.
