Sunday night Hollywood's best will watch as the year's biggest hit films are announced, and you can watch too. The 91st Annual Academy Awards Show, or the Oscars, as always, will be streaming live nationally. You can start watching the show at 8 p.m. ET.
Before the full show, however, the largest names of the night will appear on the red carpet. The red carpet stream is scheduled to begin about 90 minutes before the show, at 6:30 p.m. ET.
The red carpet starts ahead of the streaming time. If you'd like to keep up with the current celebrities walking the carpet ahead of 6:30, you can tune in on the Academy Awards Twitter account. They will be posting the best looks from the pre-show celebration.
The 91st Annual Academy Awardswill be held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Here are some of the major categories and nominees this year.

Movies Vice, The Favourite, A Star Is Born, BlacKkKlansmen, Roma and Green Book are among the leading names this year.
Oscar awards are chosen by the Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences. In total, there are over 6,000 voting members and 17 branches of the Academy. No outside votes are allowed in determining who will win the award.
The Academy has been criticized for a lack of diversity in the past. This year, the awards show received heat for cutting four prominent categories from the live broadcast. The categories are editing, cinematography, live-action short and hairstyling-and-makeup.
They defended the decision in a letter published February 14 after receiving a letter from prominent Hollywood members who slammed the decision. "Our show producers have given great consideration to both Oscar tradition and our broad global audience," the letter read, as published by the Los Angeles Times. "We sincerely believe you will be pleased with the show, and look forward to celebrating a great year in movies with all Academy members and with the rest of the world."
