What TV Channel is the Preakness Stakes 2019 on Today? Live Streaming, How, Where to Watch Online

The second leg of horse racing's Triple Crown starts Saturday with the 144th running of the Preakness Stakes. This race is traditionally the third Monday of May at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland.

There won't be a Triple Crown winner this year after Kentucky Derby longshot winner Country House pulled out of the race. Maximum Security, the Derby favorite that crossed the finish line first but was later disqualified, also will not run the Preakness.

Horse racing had gone 38 years without a Triple Crown winner before American Pharoah won the trifecta—Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont Stakes—in 2015, and Justify accomplished the Triple Crown in 2018.

Bob Baffert, the trainer of both American Pharoah and Justify, will aim to win his eighth Preakness Stakes on Saturday with race favorite Improbable at 5 to 2 odds to win it.

Saturday will have several runs on the undercards — or early races. The main race will begin at 6:48 p.m. ET on Saturday. Here's more important information about the race, including how to watch it and who are the favorites to win it.

What channel is the Preakness Stakes on? Can I LiveStream it?

NBC is the network broadcasting the 144th Preakness Stakes for those who don't have tickets. NBCSN will begin broadcasting at 2 p.m. ET for what they call "Preakness Stakes Prep."

Anyone wishing to livestream the event through their mobile devices should check in advance to make sure the streaming site is supported by their cable or satellite service.

What is the schedule for Saturday?
