Where to Watch 'Halloween Kills'? How to Stream the Michael Myers Movie

Halloween Kills is the latest sequel of the classic horror film Halloween, whose protagonist is Michael Myers, a young boy with a lust for masks and bloodshed.

There are certainly worse ways to mark October 31 than watching the latest spooky movie from the Halloween series.

Viewers can watch the movie on HBO Max or Peacock streaming services, according to TVGuide.com. However, you can also rent or purchase it on Amazon Instant Video or Google, the website says.

There are no current plans to air the film on television.

In the original 1978 Halloween film, actor Nick Castle plays Myers, a cursed young boy who murders his older sister Judith.

In all the film's dozen prequels, Myers develops an unstoppable thirst for bloodshed and continues to ruthlessly kill innocent victims.

Halloween Kills, the most recent film of the saga, is directed by David Gordon Green. The film stars Jamie Lee Curtis and James Jude Courtney, who play the roles of Laurie Strode and Myers, respectively.

The film also stars Kyle Richards (Lindsey Wallace), Dyland Arnold (Cameron Elam), Anthony Michael Hall (Tommy Doyle), Andi Matichak (Allyson Nelson) and Judy Greer (Karen Nelson).

Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk also makes a surprise appearance.

The film, set in Haddonfield, Illinois, sees Myers escape from Strode's trap to continue his killing spree. Strode is Myers' younger sister, who changed her name from Cynthia Myers after she was adopted Morgan and Pamela Strode, after her biological parents were killed in a car accident.

Strode, her daughter Karen and granddaughter Allyson, left Myers caged and burned in Strode's basement. Strode was injured in a fire and taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, thinking she has finally killed her evil brother. In hospital, she reunites with Tommy Doyle, the boy she was babysitting the night Michael first began murdering people.

As Strode tries to recover in hospital, Doyle leads an angry mob of vigilantes and survivors of Myers to try and destroy him (who they previously thought was dead) once and for all.

The original film was inspired by Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 movie Psycho and Bob Clark's 1974 opus Black Christmas.

There is one more Halloween film slated to be released on October 14 this year, called Halloween Ends. It is also directed and written by Green. Curtis, Matichak, Richards and Courtney will all star in it.

It will not be the final film in the franchise but it will be the last movie under Blumhouse, with the rights of the series reverting back to producer Malik Akkad after it is released.
