Who Is Aubrey O'Day? Reports Say Donald Trump Jr. Had Affair With Danity Kane Alum

According to gossip website reports Monday, Donald Trump Jr.'s marriage was in trouble long before his wife, Vanessa, filed for divorce.

According to Us Weekly and Perez Hilton, the president's eldest son had an affair with former Danity Kane singer Aubrey O'Day after meeting on the set of Celebrity Apprentice in 2011.

"Apparently, the 40-year-old was very aggressive in pursuing the former Danity Kane artist—telling Aubrey he loved her and that he wanted to be with her," reports Perez Hilton.

Neither O'Day nor Trump Jr. has commented on the stories.

The singer became famous in 2005, after appearing as a contestant on MTV series Making the Band. She was selected by host Sean "Diddy" Combs to become part of girl group Danity Kane.

That same year Trump Jr. married Vanessa Haydon at his father's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

Danity Kane enjoyed a successful run, with their first two albums topping the Billboard charts.

Their song Damaged charted in the top ten on Billboard, and was nominated for two MTV Video Music Awards in 2008.

O'Dane appeared in the Celebrity Apprentice in 2011, which was hosted by Trump Jr.'s father, Donald Trump.

After Donald Trump's election in 2016 she tweeted "I'm embarrassed to be an American."

When a follower then pointed out she had appeared on Trump's reality show, O'Day replied: "No. my story I didn't tell is worth millions now … this doesn't hurt me, it hurts America."

She later deleted the second tweet.

In a statement Monday, Trump Jr., and Vanessa Trump said: "After 12 years of marriage, we have decided to go our separate ways. We will always have tremendous respect for each other and our families. We have five beautiful children together and they remain our top priority. We ask for your privacy during this time."
