Insatiable star Debby Ryan announced her engagement to Twenty One Pilots drummer Josh Dun on Sunday. She revealed the engagement on her Twitter account with a series of photos of the proposal.
"I said yes! Well technically I said 'NO WAY' twice but I meant yes," the actor wrote alongside the photos. Dun shared the same photos on his Instagram with his own sweet caption. "She my dude for life. I love you Debby," he wrote.
The pair began dating in 2013 and were together around a year and a half before they decided to split in 2015, according to Teen Vogue and Bustle.
At the time, Dun had said he was too busy to be in a relationship. "I'm in a place right now where I just want to enjoy being single. We're just so busy that the logistics of our career make dating impossible," he told Rolling Stone in 2016. "I think I'll find a girl at some point that makes all of the extra work and effort that needs to be put into it worth it. But for right now, I just date my drums."
Rumors the pair had reunited began in 2016 after photos of the two together were shared. Ryan spoke candidly about the couple's relationship and support for each other in a 2018 interview with the Sydney Morning Herald.
"I think it's really key to be with someone who respects you and likes you for who you are and honestly makes it really attractive to do things you want to me. To take up a new hobby and push yourself," she said of Dun. "I'm in love and very happy. It's cool and special to have that support system."
Dun has a net worth of around $10 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. He joined his two-man band, which originated in 2009, around 2011. They have released three albums as a pair, no including the band's debut, self-titled album, which featured two band members who are no longer in the group.
Twenty One Pilots found major fame with the release of their 2013 album Vessel and have since frequented the indie-rock musical market.
Ryan began her acting career on Disney Channel in a series of shows, from The Suite Life On Deck to starring in the series Jessie. She can now be found on Netflix's Insatiable.
