Who Is Speaking at the RNC 2020? Trump Family, Kellyanne Conway, McConnell in Lineup

President Donald Trump is looking to rally support for his reelection bid alongside political allies at the 2020 Republican National Convention (RNC), which kicks off on Monday August 24.

Trump himself is expected to feature heavily, with Trump campaign senior adviser Jason Miller telling NBC's Meet the Press the president will be "speaking at various parts through each of the nights."

There will be "a very optimistic and upbeat convention," Miller said, with the president to discuss his "vision for the future."

A release from the Trump campaign said the convention will "honor the great American story, the American people that have written it, and how President Donald J. Trump's Make America Great Again agenda has empowered them to succeed."

Several members of Trump's family, who he has kept close and worked with in a political capacity throughout his tenure, will also speak at the event.

Elsewhere among the speakers are politicians such as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is also to address the convention, with questions raised over the logistics of this while he is away on a diplomatic trip in the Middle East, stating he is "looking forward to sharing" how "my family is more SAFE and more SECURE because of President Trump."

Kellyanne Conway, who has abruptly announced her departure from the White House, will also speak.

Newsweek has contacted the Trump campaign and the RNC 2020 organizers for further comment on the lineup.
