Kevin Barnett, co-creator and executive producer of Fox's Rel, has died.

The comedian, 32, died Tuesday while vacationing in Mexico; however, a cause of death is not yet known, according to a Deadline report.

Barnett's talent agency UTA confirmed his death Tuesday afternoon via Twitter: "We are deeply saddened by the passing of our friend and client Kevin Barnett. He was an incredible talent and a wonderful person. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. We will miss him."

The comedian was a part of the beloved podcast, The Last Podcast on the Left. His co-host, Ben Kissel, also confirmed his friend's death. Due to the unfortunate event, the podcast announced to their followers that there would be no stream on Tuesday.

"Dear Last Podcast family, It's with a heavy heart we inform you of the passing of Kevin Barnett," Kissel tweeted. "The joy he brought to our lives is the greatest gift we have ever received. Remind your friends you love them because you never know when you see them again. We love you KB."

The 32-year-old's last social media post was made two days ago to his over 8,000 followers via Instagram.

The up-and-coming comedian was best known for his work on Rel, but also took part in writing The Do-Over— starring Adam Sandler and David Spade— and The Carmichael Show. Barnett also made appearances in the shows he wrote, in addition to brief cameos in Dumb and Dumber To.

Barnett looked to have at least three projects in the works: One Night Stan, Alcoholic Unanimous and The Wrong Missy, according to his IMDb profile.

Shortly after the announcement of his surprise passing, #RIPKevinBarnett began circulating on Twitter; fans sharing their disbelief.

"I can't I'm really hurt. You were such an inspiration to me and so nice. I can't move. My whole body hurts," one Twitter user wrote. "I was so happy for your success. You always treated me like you knew me for years. Hilarious and bold and humble."

"I'm kind of in disbelief about the passing of great comedian/writer and good friend to all, Kevin Barnett," another user tweeted. "I saw him in November & he called me on stage to join him for his set. Having fun with friends on stage or in film, that was his thing."
