Why Khloe Kardashian's Latest Photo Has Both Fans and Celebrities in a Chokehold

Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek's network of contributors

Both fans and stars alike couldn't resist commenting on Khloé Kardashian's latest Instagram upload.

On Monday, April 29, the Kardashians star, 39, shared a photo of herself on a yacht looking tanned, toned and unbothered. The mom of two — Kardashian shares daughter True, 6, and son Tatum, 2, with ex Tristan Thompson — wore a black bikini with a matching sarong while leaning back against a cabinet and scrolling through her phone.

Kardashian's A-list friends — and relatives — immediately hit the comments section to hype their girl up.

"Cutie," Kylie Jenner praised her sister.

"Wow!!😍🔥🔥🔥🔥," wrote Paris Hilton.

Kardashian's longtime besties, twins Malika and Khadijah Haqq, were also here for the Good American founder's bikini shot.

"Lookin good just minding your business 😍," gushed Malika, while Khadijah let her multiple flame emojis do the talking."

Fans also quickly inserted themselves into the discussion.

"Body is tea Koko 👏🔥 you look so good!!" wrote one follower.

"Tatum & Trues Mother is Hot🔥😍 She's not just a regular Mom she's a Cool mom😩," another person penned.

"Girls body is 🔥," a third user noted.

In addition to the praise from her supporters, body-shamers also trolled the comments section — which other fans attempted to put a stop to.

"No matter what it's so sad to see that so much woman bringing down this woman she's rich and can do whatever the f*** she wants you guys sick," one fan hit back.

"idc what yall say, she's beautiful as F***," another wrote.

Kardashian has been candid over the years about the toll body-shamers have taken on her since Keeping Up With the Kardashians first aired in 2007.

"I've been torn apart the minute that I've gone on TV. I didn't look like my sisters, so therefore, it's not good enough," she said on a 2023 episode of The Kardashians, per Business Insider. "Then when I started, whatever, changing my look, you get better makeup, you do fillers, you do whatever, I had a nose job, and there's still people constantly bullying you."

Ultimately, Kardashian noted, "You have to do things for yourself."

"We're all just trying to do the best we can," she concluded.
