Will Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick Be Bachelor Nation's Next Big Couple? Pair Set to Go on Date Soon

Move over, Colton Underwood. There's a new romance blossoming within Bachelor Nation that's worth taking notice of. Bachelorette alums Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick are expected to be heading out on their first date very soon.

News about the pair's involvement broke when Entertainment Tonight's Lauren Zima sat down with Bachelorette star Becca Kufrin's former suitors Tartick, 30, and Blake Horstmann, 28, on Tuesday. In a video shared to her Instagram Story, Zima asked the men about their current romantic prospects. While Horstmann dished on which of Underwood's contenders he'd be interested in getting to know better on Bachelor in Paradise, Tartick suggested he was working on finding love off-camera.

"You know what? I actually just asked her out on a date in Denver next weekend," Tartick told Zima. "We'll see what happens."

Tartick also revealed to Zima that when he appeared on Bristowe's podcast Off the Vine earlier on Tuesday they had discussed their desire to go on a date. Bristowe will be seeing Tartick and Horstmann in Colorado sometime this coming weekend. With this in mind, Bristowe asked whether Tartick would "finally" ask her on a date.

"You're making me blush over here, Kaitlyn," he said. "I mean, we're both going to be in the same city at the same time. I see no reason why we shouldn't go to dinner and grab drinks. What do you think?"

To this, she said: "I'm all in."

The pair's upcoming date comes after weeks of speculation, as Tartick and Bristowe have flirted via social media on multiple occasions. Tartick, in fact, even created a poll through his Instagram Story to ask fans whether he should ask Bristowe out. With this in mind, Bachelor Nation devotees have subsequently shipped the duo.

Bristowe and Tartick's upcoming date comes after they both broke off relationships with fellow Bachelor Nation members. Before this, Tartick had dated Kufrin on The Bachelorette Season 14. However, Kufrin called things off with Tartick during the overnight dates round.

"I was in complete shock. They didn't show it [in the episode], but the next day, I was a mess, because it all hit me," he told Entertainment Tonight in July 2018. "[In] that moment, I'm in Thailand and I have everything someone could ask for. I have a suite full of all the food and drink I want… and it was one of the most empty moments in my life, because I didn't have my friends, I didn't have my family, and I just lost her."

Bristowe, for her part, found love with Shawn Booth on The Bachelorette Season Season 11. Booth proposed to Bristowe in the Season 11 finale in 2015, but they wound up parting ways three years into their long engagement.

"We have decided to go our separate ways," the pair said in a statement to People in November. "This difficult decision comes after thoughtful, respectful consideration. Even though we are parting as a couple, we're very much committed to remaining friends and we will continue to support each other."
