Woman Apologizes After Video of Her Criticizing Neighbor's 'Tigger' Flag Viewed Over 10M Times

TikTok is home to plenty of videos that show public meltdowns, freakouts and tense interactions. As an example, in a TikTok video that has been viewed 10 million times, one woman confronts her neighbor over a "Tigger" flag on the latter's property.

TikTok user @tizzybizzy92, known as Ambrosia, posted the video that shows the interaction between her and the woman.

"I want to talk to you about this Tigger flag," the woman says in the footage to Ambrosia. "I don't like it."

The flag in question featured Tigger from Winnie the Pooh on a blue background picking flowers.

Though the woman compliments the American flag that was also displayed, she goes on to point out other aspects of the property and says she hadn't made any comments about the shrubbery or the backyard.

"We have rules," says the woman. "I don't want to have to go find out what they are, but I don't like that."

Ambrosia responds to the neighbor, saying there wasn't a homeowner's association for the community. But the woman continues to say that the flag needed to come down.

"I don't like [the flag]," the woman says. "It makes it tacky. It makes the neighborhood look tacky."

Ambrosia disagrees with her.

"It doesn't," she says. "But that's OK, you're allowed your opinion."

The woman says she would look more into the rules as she left the property.

About a day after Ambrosia posted the original video, she provided an update on the situation.

"I don't know who told her. Somebody told her," Ambrosia says in the update. "She did what we have been calling a drive-by apology."

Ambrosia explains that the woman was driving by and shouted an apology out of her window.

"She was literally driving by when she shouted out of the window, 'I'm sorry! Sorry!" Ambrosia says laughing. "And she just kept going."

The comments on TikTok praised Ambrosia's level-headedness.

"You handled that so well," one user wrote. "She was looking for an argument and you ruined her day by not giving it to her."

Another user questioned why the neighbor had an issue with the flag that features a well-known childhood character. "You have the patience of a saint," the person wrote.

Many likened Ambrosia's neighbor to a "Karen," a term that describes a woman who acts entitled or demanding.

"Tigger" began trending on Twitter as a result of the confrontation between Ambrosia and the woman. Many users weighed in on the situation, and, like the TikTok comments, commended Ambrosia for her patience and composure throughout the conversation.

Newsweek has reached out to Ambrosia for further comment.
