Woman Buys From Man on Facebook, in Shock at Video He Later Sends Her

A hilarious surprise message to a shopper introduces her to the sheep her wool came from...and informs her the animal is "shepherd's pie."

In a post shared on TikTok, under the username just.meryl, the young textile artist explains that after making her purchase on Facebook Marketplace, the seller updated her with a video of her fleece's newly-shorn source.

She says: "I'm getting texts from the guy that I bought a sheep fleece from on Facebook Marketplace introducing me to his sheep. I wouldn't want it any other way."

The poster then goes ahead to show the video message that the seller sent her, where he points to the sheep, while moving some goats out of the way, saying: "This white sheep, excuse me goaties, excuse me, this white sheep here is shepherd's pie, that's whose wool you got."

It's not clear whether the sheep in question is simply named shepherd's pie, or has been turned into a shepherd's pie, ready to eat.

A caption shared along with the clip says: "I'm just trying to live a life where I giggle everyday and this... this is it."

One user, PrincessJiminie, commented: "He said excuse me to a goat. if that's not a green flag I've never seen one." And Entrail said: "I would feel so much more incentive to buy a wool product if I got a personal introduction to the sheep I want to tell them they're doing great."

The wobbly witch3 wrote: "This is the level of customer service I love. My favorite yarn brands are any that include the name or a pic of who's wool I have."
