Woman in Disbelief After Making Shock Discovery a Year After Her Wedding

A woman took to social media to share the shocking discovery she made recently while going through her bridal memory box.

The viral video, which has been viewed more than 750,000 times since it was first shared to TikTok on August 31, captured Sarah Lynn Mead discovering a heap of wedding gifts and letters that had laid untouched under her veil for over a year.

The Texan Dallas-based lifestyle and travel blogger who'd gotten married last year explained in the post that 20 unopened wedding gifts had been left hidden under her long veil for over a year. The gifts appear to be mainly letters and notes congratulating Mead and her husband on their special day.

Mead later revealed in the post's comments section that the gifts included checks, which were swiftly reissued, cash, and gift cards with no known expiration date.

The blogger shared plenty of photos and videos from her stunning wedding with her online following when she got married last year. Mead expressed her upset at having never gotten back to those who'd sent her the letters and gifts in the post's caption. "This is not a drill! Texting everyone immediately to say that we are sorry for the delay in thank you notes," she shared.

What Do the Comments Say?

Since it was shared on the social media platform on August 31 by @Sarah.Lynn.Mead, the TikTok post has been liked by over 42,000 users and commented on dozens of times.

Plenty of users have echoed Mead's surprise at the gift reveal, while others asked the blogger questions about her wedding and the glamorous veil she'd shown off in the video.

One user asked: "Your veil is gorgeous! Do you have any pictures of you and your dress?"

"Is it tacky to ask how much it all was? I'm SOOOO curious," another user added.

A different user also asked: "How much was in there?"

"I found thank you cards I never sent quite some time later," shared another TikToker.

"My parents were cleaning out the garage when I was in high school and came across an unopened wedding present 25 years later," another TikTok user commented.
