Woman on Girls' Trip Opens Case, Not Prepared for What Boyfriend Packed

It's hard to be away from a partner when traveling, but one woman's boyfriend is making sure she has a taste of home with her wherever she goes.

A viral video posted by @awaywithmon on TikTok revealed the sweet surprise gesture her boyfriend made when she went away on a girls' trip to Paris. apparently from the U.K. He packed her exactly four sachets of the tea he makes her before bed—one for every night she'd be gone. Since it was posted, the video has received over 200,000 views and over 20,000 likes.

"When I was packing before my trip to visit my bestie in Paris, my boyfriend asked me to confirm how many nights I'm staying with her (four)," she captioned the video. "And then on the train I found in my bag exactly four sachets of my favorite tea he makes me every single night before bed...Who is cutting onions?"

People in the comments were gushing over the small, simple act of love. Many said it was an example of why women should not "settle" or accept relationships that don't involve these kinds of gestures. As one user wrote, the "highest form of love is consideration."

"This is, 'If he wanted [to] he would,'" @jodi_here wrote, referring to a common TikTok phrase used to urge people not to beg their partners for affection. "No settling, ladies and gentlemen."

"Welp, time to go start a fight with my husband," @justplanecarly wrote.

"I broke up with my boyfriend today," @vicparzysz wrote. "And I hope that the next one will be one like that."

When some suggested that her boyfriend should have packed tea for her bestie, too, the original poster replied: "For some people good gesture is never enough. She's not a tea drinker, we brought her her favorite pastries from London."

While it may seem the couple's love language is gift-giving, another video reveals the different, adorable way the pair express their love for each other.

In a carousel of photos, @awaywithmon revealed their love language includes booking trips for each other for special occasions. Beyond that, though, the trips involve surprises for each other with elaborate reveals and invitations. One photo showed a scratch-off destination reveal to Brussels, while another simulated a passport page with all the booking details.

The pair pokes fun at their penchant for travel as much as they celebrate it. In another video, the @awaywithmon writes: "When your partner thinks he's found a cheap girlfriend because you're not interested in designer clothes, fancy cars or expensive makeup. Little did he know that he'd be spending all of his money on flights, hotels and meals out instead."
