Woman Hyping Up 'Dramatic' Flowers Has Internet in Stitches

A woman has left the internet in stitches after revealing that she bought a bouquet of flowers only to find out when she got home that they were actually "depressed."

In a video shared on TikTok on Sunday, under the username jillyisabella, the poster explains: "I got myself some tulips, why are they so sad? Why are they being so dramatic? My back's sore looking at that.

"That tulip look as if it's been sat at a desk job for eight hours. Why do they look like that? So sad, spring is coming, you're the flower! You're the flowers of spring."

As she places the tulips in a glass vase, she can be heard saying "This guy needs to go to a chiropractor."

She continues: "You'll be okay, the light nights are coming in should I speak too nicely, you're beautiful you're gorgeous, will they grow? They don't look nice, also they were £15. £15 for depressed tulips?"

The hilarious video comes with a caption that says: "[Of course] I ended up with the dramatic tulips."

The poster is upset that while spring is coming her tulips refuse to bloom, but it turns out that the flowers are reacting in the right way.

According to AccuWeather, while most northern states may get to enjoy an early spring, some of the central and southern states, including New Mexico, and parts of Arizona, Texas, Utah, and Colorado, could face an extended winter instead.

The video quickly went viral on social media and has so far received more than 4.3 million views and 362,100 likes on the platform.

One user, HappyInTheHaze, commented: "Put a Hermes bag in the vase—perks them up a treat." And Mon Petit Coton wrote: "Ex florist here, tulips needs less water, too much makes them continue to grow and look sad."

Kait added: "My granny says to pierce a hole in the stem at the top of tulips and it makes them last longer."

Advokarolina said: "Too much water my dear, just put in a little bit of water in the vase, they drink more than they should (just like me, when I am going out) and their heads get too heavy."
