Woman Shares Heatless Hack To Curl Hair In 3 Hours Using Everyday Item

A woman's simple hack for effortless bouncy curls has been viewed more than 9.3 million times since it was first shared to Instagram on December 17.

The woman, a content creator who goes by @edelydesigns on the platform, revealed how people can give their own locks a voluminous 90s supermodel refresh without applying any harmful heat tools.

The creator's magic ingredient for heatless curls came in the form of a few odd socks, which she carefully employed to roll thick strands of her hair over and secure in place.

Those who are chronically online will know that the 'sock hack' is not a new thing, but what's captured the interest of 9 million viewers is the fact that the creator was able to achieve her bouffant hairdo without leaving the rolled socks in place overnight—which is what is commonly advised when trying out the trick.

The content creator shared in the post that she had left the socks in place for just three hours—because she "hates sleeping in them"—before taking them out.

The post was captioned: "Leaving socks on my hair for three hours instead of the whole night because I hate sleeping in them! Definitely did not end up as defined as the overnight ones but I'll take it since I got to sleep in peace."

What Do The Comments Say?
