Woman's Solution to Avoid Being Grilled Over Cheese Habit Delights Internet

Cheese just makes everything better, and yet eating it on its own is still somehow frowned upon. A cheese lover has left TikTok viewers laughing after revealing her genius way to eat entire blocks of cheese without being judged for it.

In a video shared last month on the platform under the username brycewattshansen, the woman can be seen biting off a block of orange cheese with a crusted outer layer that looks like a cantaloupe melon, so her husband thinks that's what she's eating.

A caption shared with the post explains: "My husband thinks it's weird that I'll just eat cubes of cheese so I found one that looks like a cantaloupe slice so he'll finally leave me alone. Not interested in his opinion."

Just about everyone loves cheese, especially in America, where the average consumer eats about 41.8 pounds of it a year, according to Statista.

While it's true that cheese is high in calories and sodium, it also has lots of health benefits when consumed in the right quantities. In fact, it can help protect your teeth, reduce blood pressure and prevent heart disease and diabetes, according to the Cleveland Clinic.

Some cheeses, like cottage cheese, provolone or Swiss, are also good for your gut.

The video quickly went viral on TikTok and has so far received over 2.2 million views and 271,700 likes.

One user, meli_tonin, commented: "I can barely find mimolette I eat it like cantaloupe too."

Han said: "Ohhh but cantaloupe with prosciutto and cheese is a great snacking trio."
