Hulk Hogan has officially returned to the WWE at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia following a three-year absence in the wake of a racially-charged scandal.
The Hogan announcement started off Crown Jewel, as his "Real American" theme song played and Hogan came out to host the event. Hogan said he was glad to be back in front of the WWE Universe, and that the power of "Hulkamania" and the Hulkamaniacs was stronger than ever.

Hogan offered no apology or acknowledgement of the controversy surrounding his absence from WWE television, which saw him refer to his daughter's boyfriends as n----- on a hidden camera tape.
In the days leading up to Crown Jewel, multiple news outlets discovered Hulk Hogan on promotions on the WWE's site. Once outlets began picking up the story, the WWE took his image and profile off the Crown Jewel event page.
WWE would later confirm to Pro Wrestling Sheet that not only would Hogan be at Crown Jewel, but he would be its host.
In March, WWE confirmed it was in talks to bring Hogan back to the company in an attempt to rehabilitate one of its most iconic characters. Backstage at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view on July 15, Hogan addressed the locker room before the show. WWE superstars Titus O'Neil and The New Day offered the following responses online.
It's unclear whether Hogan has signed a new agreement with the company at this time, but before his suspension he was an ambassador to the WWE.
